With Bad Company 2 out to keep me busy, I haven’t had much time to watch anime yet. Still I wasn’t feeling like going to bed just yet, so I thought I might as well blog these few thoughts while they’re still fresh.
FEELS BAD MAN.
Uh…I find it difficult to express myself here. But I think my reaction was something like this…
Well, I was stuck with phone duty a couple times back in the service and so it’s not like I don’t know the feeling. Then again, at least we were allowed to relieve ourselves and it’s not like anybody ever called with anything important. Just trivial shit like some MP gone missing and calling out the alert for judicial assistance unit. Whuzzat? Doesn’t affect my pay or the number of remaining service days man. Then again Kanata probably isn’t a conscript…poor bastard. PRO TIP: Volunteer for APC phone duty on camps in summertime and take the entire night. Nobody ever calls anyway, and you can sleep in the APC which totally beats the cramped tent especially if it rains. And you’re freed of any other watch duty, hell yeah! To return the favor, I helped the APC crew to clean the PKT LMG after exercises but it was well worth the trouble.
But leaving that aside, looks like the plot is finally on the move somewhere which hardly is a bad thing. I’ve noticed people still bitching about how SoraWoto is just like K-ON! and worthless moe shit. Frankly I’m too tired to even try to argue with that anymore so instead I’ll just leave you with an interesting piece of thought by my Finnish colleague Tsubasa:
I watched So-Ra-No-Wo-To and came to think…if Haibane Renmei was made now, would it too be called trivial, plotless moe girl show?
At least someone managed to hit the nail on the head. I am impress.
