Season Start Final Ranking (Unlimited Bloggan Works)

From such a barrage of posts here you can really tell that I’ve been quite bored recently. But I’ve long since learned not to resist when an inspiration strikes, so here we are with a little update to my view on the Fall 2009 season. Now I understand reading through my text is tiresome, so I will be brief (really!) and postan pics.


Above you can see the current ranking I have established for the shows. You may notice a few differences to the previous version, so let’s go through this tier-by-tier.

God Tier: Kuuchuu Buranko is the winner here, hands down. No other show can match its creativity and twisted, insane humor.
Top tier: Originally Letter Bee was in the God tier because there simply was nothing else to put there but as much as I like it, it won’t stand against Kuuchuu Buranko – however it easily deserves a place in the top tier. “But Noba”, you ask, “why of all things is SoraOto there?” Because as perverted and low its humor may be, it actually made me laugh my ass off quite a few times. Successful comedy is successful.
Mid tier: Kinda crowded here now. Nyan Koi! was actually a borderline case and it may force its way to the top tier yet, but that remains to be seen. 11eyes made a great start but I can already see signs of the visual quality stalling and C;H vibes are all over the place. Kobato was funny and cute but the idea of impending emowhelming storyline really turns me off. Railgun is still to graduate from the cocktease-phase and the fact that the manga it’s adapted from only has enough material for maybe 8-10 episode storyarc puts JC Staff into a rather awkward situation. Expect something fillertastic.
Low tier: Inhabited by Seitokai no Ichizon, no change here. The show started as a very definition of mediocre and just keeps going down – the third episode was already painful to watch. PROTIP for the guys at DEEN: You can’t make a funny comedy by accident. Also, Mafuyu’s seiyuu should try performing while not totally stoned.
Shit tier: Kämpfer, nuff said. If Seitokai has been gradually losing altitude then Kämpfer is in an irreversible stall.

Haha, it’s not like I run my desktop, mini-laptop, two LCD monitors and PSC around the clock seven days of the week. HAHAHA HAHAHAHA haha..ha…
