I suppose I should’ve done this as soon as the school was out in spring. I’m too busy to be assed with blogging so Jinx! will be on a hiatus until the end of September. Thank you for your attention.

In addition to being tired because of three-hour shifts at a factory where every day’s a heatwave and having half of my soul consumed by EVE Online, I just realized that this season has disappointed me. So I dropped every show I had on my schedule except Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Bakemonogatari. Props to SHAFT, the rest of you suck. Umineko started reminding me of the Moomin episodes with the Hobgoblin, except that at least the Hobgoblin’s pretty badass with his flying panther and shit. Somehow I didn’t end up liking the characters of Tokyo Magnitude enough to actually care if they die or not which isn’t that good when watching a survival series. CANAAN is just Madlax all over again, which in turn was effectively a rerun of Noir. So just watch Noir, at least the heroines in it are less annoying. GA Art Design Class is actually pretty damn good but subbed by slow and anything but steady Ayako. Also, to quote a certain taiyaki…

P.S. Since Author seemed to be confused about it, the Hobgoblin indeed means the Wizard in Moomin. As far as I have understood his official English name is the Hobgoblin, as would suggest his original Swedish name Trollkarlen (as you should know, the Moomin-series is of Finnish-Swedish origin). However his Finnish name Taikuri translates as a wizard or a magician. Who knows?
