Stop the press!
I know I’m totally late with this post, I doubt there is any self-respecting anime watcher out there who hasn’t already heard of what happened. It seems that the second season of KyoAni’s biggest milestone so far, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, has appeared out of thin air. This of course caused a massive meltdown within the anime fandom with everyone and their grandmother posting desperately on imageboards, blogs and forums. Heck, even the completely flat-lined #animeblogger bursted into a day or two of activity.
Since everybody is posting about Haruhi, I didn’t feel like being one of the uncool kids and decided to hop on the bandwagon. So yeah, I watched the god damn thing. And as reluctant as I may be about saying it, it was pretty good. It has the same strange appeal to it that made the first season a legend, animation is as good as always etc. etc.. That’s all I really had to say, it’s not like I had anything that a battalion of bloggers who have posted before me haven’t already written.
